Anyone who writes, or may be required to write, texts intended for internet users.
Prerequisites:
  • Communicate in writing clearly and appropriately
  • Basic knowledge of communication (e.g., what a target audience is)
  • Regular use of search engines, at least for personal purposes

Enable participants to:

  • Understand the specificities of writing for the web,
  • Adapt an informational text from an existing print version to an online publication in order to optimize it, in terms of both form and content, from the perspective of “ease of online reading for internet users” as well as “organic search engine optimization,” while taking into account the target audience, the sponsor, and the communication objective pursued,
  • Effectively convey a personal (or collective: association, company position, etc.) opinion on the web.

  1. 5-step web writing method:
  • Define objectives, target audiences, communication strategy

  1. Oral summary + delivery of a 4-page written “executive summary” + sharing of useful resources (online and offline) to explore the topic further
The teaching method aims to foster interaction with participants and is primarily inductive: participants are led to observe examples and counterexamples, deduce theoretical principles, then apply them, and then correct their work based on the trainer’s feedback and, in some cases, that of other group members.
Participants will also be able to ask questions related to their own activity so that they can easily put the learning into practice within their company.
The various interactions (questions asked directly to participants, Q sessions, etc.) between the trainer and the participants will make it possible to assess their understanding of the material.
