We offer certification training in partnership with PECB, based on the most recent practices and covering all ISO standard requirements and guidelines related to Health and Safety Management.

These training programs help professionals succeed in their respective fields and distinguish themselves through worldwide recognition.

ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System

The International Labour Organization (ILO) estimates that approximately 2.3 million workers worldwide die each year from work-related accidents. According to the ILO, there are approximately 340 million workplace accidents per year globally and approximately 160 million victims of work-related diseases. Although significant efforts have been made in recent decades to improve worker health and safety, much remains to be done. To address issues related to worker health and safety, ISO has developed ISO 45001, an international standard that defines requirements for an occupational health and safety management system (OH&S MS).

Based on the British standard OHSAS 18001 and other international guidelines on occupational health and safety, ISO 45001 Occupational health and safety management systems — Requirements with guidance for use specifies the requirements for an OH&S MS. By establishing an effective OH&S MS based on this standard, organizations provide safer and healthier work environments.

ISO 45001 is applicable to organizations of all sizes and sectors that seek to prevent work-related injuries, illnesses, and deaths, and promotes the establishment of safe work environments and continuous improvement of occupational health and safety performance.

ISO 45001 shares the High Level Structure (HLS) similar to other ISO management system standards such as ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management, enabling organizations to easily integrate two or more management systems. Since its publication in 2018, ISO 45001 has replaced the British standard OHSAS 18001.

ISO 18788 – Security Operations Management System Training

ISO 18788 specifies requirements and provides guidelines for organizations conducting or contracting security operations. Furthermore, it provides a framework for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining, and improving a security operations management system. It enables the continuous development of security services while ensuring client safety and respect for human rights. This standard demonstrates compliance with laws and regulations, respect for human rights, and the establishment of professional security operations to better meet client and stakeholder needs.

Why is the security operations management system important to you?

The importance of ISO 18788 lies in the organization’s ability to identify appropriate legal and regulatory directives and support business functions and the supply chain. This standard is appropriate for any type of organization involved in conducting or contracting security operations. ISO 18788 certification helps you establish, implement, maintain, and improve a security operations management system and ensures at the same time that the organization has implemented effective management controls.
Furthermore, it demonstrates the organization’s commitment to consistently providing quality services that meet client needs, protect the reputation of the client and the organization, while complying with applicable laws and human rights requirements.

By completing the training we offer and obtaining ISO 18788 credentials, you will acquire the necessary expertise to help an organization implement and manage a private security operations management system (SOMS).
